On Thursday April 2, the Oratory JV baseball team beat David Brearley High School 13-1. The team had their bats alive and were able to jump out to a strong lead in the first three innings of the game. Freshman John Lally had a huge day at the dish going 4 for 4 and driving in 3 runs. Every player on the team had a solid day both at the plate and in the field. Sophomore Mike Calandrillo pitched a great game, going 5 ⅔ only allowing one run. Harrison Gambelli finished the game on the mound striking out three batters. The team had a great team effort, everyone contributing in a positive way and started the season off on a strong note.
