Packers Vs. Panthers Recap
November 9, 2015
In the middle of the day on November 8th, 2015, the Green Bay Packers faced the undefeated Carolina Panthers in a big game that would decide the record of one team, and the dignity of another. Last week, Green Bay fell to the Denver Broncos in what was a blowout game due to the Broncos’ 29 points and the Packers’ 10. Yesterday afternoon, the Packers lost for the second time in as many weeks to the Panthers. It was a close fought game but the Panthers kept themselves above the Packers for most of regulation.
Towards the end of the fourth quarter, the Panthers’ quarterback, Cam Newton, threw an interception with 3:38 left in regulation, giving the Packers a chance to come back and send the game into overtime. Aaron Rodgers rallied the Packers offense into the redzone, but with 1:53 left and a fourth and goal, Aaron Rodgers threw a pass intended for Randall Cobb, but was then intercepted on the Carolina 4 by defensive captain and linebacker Thomas Davis. Hopes are still high for another Packers Super Bowl run but the struggling offense could become a wildcard in the playoffs. The Panthers, however, look to sustain their undefeated season, but will face many challenges such as the Titans’ Marcus Mariota next week and the Saints’ flourishing offense in three weeks. These games will determine a well balanced preview of how the Panthers will do this year in terms of playoffs. If they can keep up their good play, they may face the Patriots or Bengals in the Super Bowl in a matchup of the undefeateds.

Comma splice – be careful with overusing commas
Towards the end of the fourth quarter, the Panthers’ quarterback, Cam Newton, threw an interception with 3:38 left in regulation, giving the Packers a chance to come back and send the game into overtime.
Sentence too long and too many “buts”
Aaron Rodgers rallied the Packers offense into the redzone, but with 1:53 left and a fourth and goal, Aaron Rodgers threw a pass intended for Randall Cobb, but was then intercepted on the Carolina 4 by defensive captain and linebacker Thomas Davis.
Need a comma before but since you are joining two complete sentences (thoughts)
Hopes are still high for another Packers Super Bowl run but the struggling offense could become a wildcard in the playoffs.
