Titanfall 2 Teaser Trailer

Yesterday Respawn Entertainment released a teaser trailer for the sequel to their 2014 mech-fighting blockbuster Titanfall. Only 45 seconds long, the trailer manages to reveal next to nothing, yet still invokes lots of hype.

The teaser is only one shot that slowly zooms in on what is presumed to be a crashed escape pod. As the camera zooms in, a voiceover starts playing, addressing the viewer. “People like you always want to be the hero,” it says, “The problem with being a hero is, you have to be willing to die for what you believe in. If I were you, I wouldn’t try so hard. You’ll live longer.” Upon saying this, a titan enters from the right and thrusts a sword into the ground. This teaser provides us with a clear understanding of the epic combat that will return with the next game. Fans will be eagerly waiting until the worldwide reveal on June 12 for more information.
