OP Varsity Soccer Update

This past weekend of October 23, the NJ Non Public A Boys Soccer Tournament Bracket was released. Oratory Prep, with a current record of 8-7-1, received the eighth seed in the North section and will play the ninth seed Depaul Catholic next week at home. Last year, Oratory played in the Non Public A Tournament for the first time and was eliminated by Depaul in overtime in the first round of the state tournament. Meaning that Oratory has been given a shot at payback this year. It will be a hard-fought game, but with the home crowd behind them hopefully Oratory will be able to pull out their first ever Non-Public A win. If Oratory was to win they would advance to the second round where they would play the number one seeded team, Bergen Catholic. Bergen Catholic is 13-1-1 and is one of the favorites to win the entire tournament, alongside with Christian Brothers and Delbarton. Hopefully, the Oratory Prep Varsity Soccer Team can finish their season on a high note.
