NFL Week 12 Recap

Week 11 was fun to watch and was a competitive set of matches. Important victories this week were: Vikings @ Lions (13-16), Redskins @ Cowboys (26-31), Titans @ Bears (27-21), Cardinals @ Falcons (19-38), Jaguars @ Bills (21-28), Bengals @ Ravens (14-19), Seahawks @ Buccaneers (5-14), Patriots @ Jets (22-17), Panthers @ Raiders (32-35), Chiefs @ Broncos (30-27 after overtime), and Packers @ Eagles (27-13).
Week 11 was another week dominated by offensive players. Kirk Cousins (Redskins) and Trevor Siemian (Broncos) threw for 449 and 368 yards, respectively, in their Week 12 losses. Both quarterbacks threw for three touchdowns. Meanwhile, Mark Ingram (Saints) averaged 10.4 yards per carry en route to a 146 yard, one touchdown performance in a win against the Los Angeles Rams. Colin Kaepernick (49ers) rushed for 113 yards. Emmanuel Sanders (Broncos) recorded 162 receiving yards and a touchdown in an overtime loss to the Chiefs. Important injuries from this week include: Rob Gronkowski (Patriots, back), Derek Carr (Raiders, hand), Danny Trevathan (Bears, knee), Lamar Miller (Texans, ankle), Ronald Darby (Bills, concussion), Allen Hurns (Jaguars, hamstring), John Brown (Cardinals, hamstring), DeVante Parker (Dolphins, back), Chris Ivory (Jaguars, hamstring), T.Y. Hilton (Colts, back), Jordan Reed (Redskins, shoulder), Vontae Davis (Colts, groin), Odell Beckham Jr. (Giants, thumb), and Jeremy Hill (Bengals, ankle).
Teams continue their trek towards the playoffs (or the number one pick in the NFL draft) in Week 13 The Browns and Titans have byes this week. Cowboys and Vikings play Thursday and the Colts visit the Jets on Monday. Important Sunday matchups include: Lions @ Saints, Rams @ Patriots, Texans @ Packers, Chiefs @ Falcons, Dolphins @ Ravens, Eagles @ Bengals, Bills @ Raiders, Buccaneers @ Chargers, Giants @ Steelers, Redskins @ Cardinals, and Panthers @ Seahawks.
