Interview with 10th Grade CEO Cole Noss

October 3, 2017
This week, I interviewed tenth grade CEO Cole Noss about his role in Student Council and his plans for the year.
Q: How do you want to make our grade better?
A: I want our class to decide how and what we want to improve on at OP. The Munchkin Meetup is a great opportunity to do so.
Q: What are your responsibilities?
A: Currently, I am responsible for helping to run spirit week and for ensuring enough students/teachers are signing up for the Dodgeball Tournament and Talent Show. An anonymous student told me this about last year’s talent show: “It was awesome because of Mr. Gaertners Dancing.”
Q: What do you want for us?
A: It all depends on what our class shows interest to during the Munchkin Meetup.
Q: What are your biggest challenges, and how can you fix them?
A: One of the biggest challenges is dealing with negativity towards school events that the student council and I worked hard on. We can fix this by taking that negativity and using it to produce positive energy in making the next event better.
Q: What do you like most about being the CEO?
A: I like being able to help my classmates and making the school a better place.
Q: Why did you choose to run for CEO?
A: I was secretary for my middle school all 3 years and had enjoyed being apart of the student government, so I decided to take a step up and run for CEO.
Q: Do you plan to be apart of the Talent Show?
A: Yes. The act is soon to be determined.
