Dwayne Wade’s Final Championship Push
October 18, 2017
After one of the most chaotic NBA offseasons ever, the Cleveland Cavaliers picked up guard Dwyane Wade. The 35-year-old Chicago native is a first ballot Hall of Famer when he retires. However, his play has decreased significantly over the years and has had to give up a quite a bit of money in contracts. Although most of his career was played on the Miami Heat, he played for his hometown Chicago Bulls on a one year contract. The short stint did not work out as well as planned. After the contract expired at the end of the season, Dwyane Wade was expected to leave for his last chance at a championship. He was signed by the Cleveland Cavaliers with one of his best friends, LeBron James, leading the team. This team seems like a perfect fit for Wade, it’s the best team that he’s been on since James left the Heat. With rumors of LeBron leaving for the L.A. Lakers, this may be the last chance for Dwyane Wade to be on a quality championship contending team.
