Interview with Nick Sannito

Joseph Meade, Staff Writer

Intro: Nick Sannito will be going into his fourth year at OP next year. Nick has been involved in Mock Trial, soccer, baseball, and many other clubs. One of his greatest involvements, though, has to be in the Overlook Junior Board which he was kind enough to talk to me about. Again, thanks to Nick for taking time out of his busy day to answer my questions.

Q: Hey Nick, can you tell us a little more about the Overlook Junior Board?

A: What we do is we will have a meeting for 2 hours and we will meet people in the hospital such as doctors and fundraisers. Our goal is to raise money to pay the salary of a social worker for one year which would help the hospital a lot.

Q: How do you find the time to do this?

A: It is not too big of a time commitment as you think. Two hours a month is not that bad when the cause is a noble one.

Q: Corey was on with you this year, how has he helped?

A: Corey was a huge help, and he gave me a look into what the board was all about and taking a role as a leader in the Board. He also helped drive me to meetings before I had my license.

Q: What are you looking forward to next year?

A: I am looking forward to getting the College application process and being looked upon as a role model for younger students.

Q: Anything else?

A: Do not forget to support the board and visit these links
