As season 2 of the Mandolorian came to a close, a lot of drama, possibilities, and surprises developed from the season. Jon Favreau did a great job connecting this generation of Star Wars with the older generation. For example, we have the scene where Luke saves Grogu, or as many people refer to him as, Baby Yoda. This is a great scene due to the fact that it shows the new generation of watchers how powerful Luke Skywalker is and a throwback for the old viewers when Darth Vader was shown how powerful he was. It really connects and brings together the viewers of the Star Wars universe.  The Mandolorian also opens many possibilities for the Star Wars storyline. Some of these upcoming Star Wars shows include Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka, The Bad Batch, and many more. Also, at the end of the Madolorian season 2 series, we are introduced to a new being of a show, Book of Boba Fett. This will be centered around Boba Fett, a very underrated character in my opinion.

Now, what basically happened in The Mandalorian? A lot happened to be honest. I’m going to give a brief overview as to what happened. The Mandalorian himself was hired to get this creature and sell it. The people who hired the Mandalorian to get Grogu were people part of the fallen empire, more importantly, Moff Gideon. He then thought differently and got attached to it. He wanted to protect it and get it back to his family or someone who would protect him. As the season goes on, he gets more attached to Grogu. We then see many characters develop and help the Mandalorian such as Bo- Khatan, Cara Dune, Boba Fett, Moff Gideon, and many more.  In the end, we see how the Mandorlian cares for this creature as if he were a son. He does the right thing and gives Grogu to Luke Skywalker to train him and protect him.
