Rams Dazzle in First Week of Season

The past two weekends have been a strong start for OP Puck. Their first test was against Livingston. In a strongly fought battle from both teams, it concluded in a 1-1 tie. Luke Jacobello netted the Rams’ lone goal and Matt Clark and Will Moran each chipped in assists. Darren Keaveny was in net and put up a very strong performance.
In their next game, however, Oratory tallied one in the win column against MKA. In a successful 7-3 win, there were a lot of key players who contributed. Senior Andrew Moran got his first career hat trick (3 goals) at OP! Other strong performances by Will Moran and Tyler Globel helped the Rams to victory. The whole team put in passion, energy, and most importantly, pace!
In our 3rd game, it was a crushing victory over Nutley, 9-1! Goals were scored by Andrew Moran, Will Moran, Jack Wilson, Gerad Fargiano, Luke Jacobello, and Colin Reis. Many chipped in assists as well, such as Connor Keaveny, Michael Crapser, Avi Tahl, and more! Senior Colby Livingston played a very strong game in net.
Overall, a great start for OP Puck! Monday, the Rams play Westfield at 4 pm. On Wednesday night, the puck drops at 8:30 vs ALJ before the Rams take on Millburn on Saturday. Links below!
