OP faced off against Jonathan Dayton on Saturday at DeGaeta Hall. Dayton came into the matchup at an even 2-2 and the Rams 5-2. Quickly into the game though, it was clear it would not be close. By the end of the first quarter, OP had a strong 20-5 lead. The Rams again outscored Dayton 20-5 in the second frame, carrying a 40-10 lead into the break. Although Dayton would make it closer in the second half, the game was all but over. OP topped the Bulldogs 23-19 in the second half, jolting them to an easy 63-29 lead.

Greg Jones again lead the Rams in scoring, despite sitting for the entire second half. Enzo Canali and Mike Pirone added 13 points and 12 points respectively. Seniors Cristian Simms and Tommy Conniff each chipped in 6 points. Junior Will Olohan scored a 3 pointer off the bench as well.

This game was not close and OP easily cruised to a win. But the next two games are crucial for the Rams. They host Governor Livingston at 7 PM on 1/18. On Saturday 1/22, they also host Cranford. Their last game against Cranford was a double-overtime thriller, despite OP falling short.
