Last week, OP JV soccer suffered 2 tough losses, including a Wednesday loss to Plainfield, and a first round county loss in double overtime to Dayton. On Wednesday, OP was down 2 at the half, but even after a late game push, still fell short by one goal. Friday, October 6th, was OPs second encounter with Dayton and , wanting revenge, the Rams came out strong leading the first half by 2 goals. A comeback by Dayton to tie the game in full time brought the first county game to overtime. OP held out for the first 10, only to have the final goal scored at the very end of double overtime right before a penalty shootout would start. Despite these two losses, OP JV soccer came back swinging on Tuesday the 10th. Despite being down one at the half, OP came out on top winning 4-1 at full time. JV soccer has its next game on Tuesday, on the road against New Providence.
