As everyone knows, the Christmas season is probably the best time of year. It’s a time of giving and joy. We already started off December with very cold days and a little snow. Hopefully, this Christmas season will be the best one yet. But in this article, I really just want to dive into a big part of what people think of as the giving part of Christmas, specifically, gift-giving. Going into the Christmas season, you should know what the best gifts are, that is, if you plan on buying gifts for others.
Number #10: Clothing
This is the most underrated gift of all time. As a kid, you probably didn’t appreciate clothing and you might not appreciate it as much now. But getting clothing is an amazing Christmas gift. It’s something that can both be new and sentimental to you depending on who bought it for you. Like if your Mom bought you clothing, you would cherish it because it is your mom giving it to you. Clothing can be an amazing gift depending on your interpretation of it.
Number #9: Cozy Slippers
In my 15 Christmases I have experienced, cozy slippers are definitely a great gift. It is something that you will wear for a long time because they are not only comfortable but also cool looking. There are different designs like reindeer, elves, and other Christmas-themed things that will put a smile on your face.
Number #8: LED Lights
This may not be for everyone, but LED lights are pretty amazing. These can bring some joy into your bedroom, work room and anywhere else you deem fit. They can allow you to get away from that boring, yellow, luminescent color coming from the normal lights in your house. This can be a really good gift for kids/teenagers and is really rising in popularity nowadays. It can also be a good gift for adults, depending on preference.
Number #7: Vacation
Although there are physical gifts, there are also things like vacations that are amazing Christmas gifts. Personally, I am going to Europe for Christmas and honestly, I prefer this. I didn’t want any gifts, but to cherish the time with my family in a new place for me. I feel like this Christmas time, it is going to be really fun because I get to spend an amazing time somewhere, instead of getting just physical gifts.
Number #6: Headphones/Earbuds
Headphones or Earbuds are some of the best gifts I have ever received. In the new day and age, people use their phones more for entertainment and whatnot. But it is awful when you want to listen to a TikTok in a quiet room with 20 people. This is why Headphones/earbuds are just amazing because you can privately listen to whatever you would like, without anyone else knowing. It also gives you the ability to listen to music at any point in the day. I don’t know how people survive without music, but personally, I can’t.
Number #5: Money
Listen, I know this may be basic but it really is a good gift for Christmas. You may not exactly know what the person you are buying a gift for wants. By giving them money, now they can choose what they would like to do with it. You basically give them the opportunity to get anything they want with your money. It’s a pretty solid gift and although it may not have sentimental value, it has numerical value.
Number #4: Board Games
Board games can be fun for anyone at all ages. There really isn’t any way you can go wrong with getting someone a board game for Christmas. I personally enjoy getting board games for Christmas because it’s a fun way to get my family together. I know that the person you are giving this gift to will be content with this.
Number #3: Hand-Crafted Gifts
Honestly, handcrafted gifts can be really nice and sentimental depending on what it is. Let’s say you’re giving a gift to your girlfriend, she will appreciate that Hand-Crafted gift so much just because you spent the time to make it. It doesn’t matter how good the gift is, if you put the effort in, it will count more than money can buy.

I think this may be very biased, but giving your kids video games for Christmas is amazing!!! In the new era that gaming is so heavily implemented into our society, giving something everyone loves on the day of giving is perfect. Your kid won’t get tired of it and will probably play it all that day.
Number #1: Your Love
Ok I know this seems very corny, but your love can go a long way for many people. Sometimes, all someone needs is a hug or reassuring words to be happy. Your love can impact people and showing how much you care can go a long way.
