The JV Basketball team has had a very successful season thus far as they are undefeated against Union County opponents, with their only loss coming in their Christmas Tournament against Hillsborough in the championship. Their size and incredible shooting from the three point spot has been a positive when playing against their opponents, as they go ahead rather easily. Coming off a loss, the Rams looked to be back into the win column against Roselle at home before they go through a tough stretch in their schedule. The Rams were off to a very strong start in the first quarter by going up 22-5 with Ryan Fay having 10 first quarter points as he led the way. After a struggle in the second quarter Roselle crept back into the game by only being down 13 at the end of the half. At halftime the boys would talk about sticking together as they needed more of a surge in order to put this game away. In response to a bad second quarter of play, the Rams would outscore Roselle 14-10, increasing their lead to 17. Oratory would not stop their and add 21 more fourth quarter points, giving them the 61-32 win to gain their 6th win of the season. Sophomores Ryan Fay and Will Kostka led the scoring as Fay had 16 with Kostka following with 15 of his own. First year JV player Mike Dragone had 11 and second year player Zach Owens had 7. The Rams seek to continue this great play by traveling to SPF Friday night in a crucial Union County Matchup.
