The Community Food Bank of New Jersey is the second-largest food pantry in the United States, serving over 750,000 hungry and food-insecure people in our state. The massive pantry is located in Hillside. They are asking for donations of soup before the Super Bowl. The St. Philip Neri Club is coming together to gather donations of soup for those in need.
Soup cans must have labels and nutritional information. Only canned soup, no glass.
Ways to get involved:
- Bring in cans of soup through Friday 2/9 and place them in the bins at the entrance of DeGaeta and Bain;
- Participate in Tag Day on January 26th: Pay $5 or pay $3, plus bring in 3 cans of soup. Wear your favorite football jersey or team colors to add excitement to conference championship weekend and the drive.
- Share the Amazon Wish List Link: If you can’t get out to buy soup you can order it on Amazon using the following wish list link – items will be brought directly to OP: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1O2QWF87BBW2B?ref_=wl_share
- Share this information with your teams and other clubs.
