NFL Mock Draft
The NFL Draft is rapidly approaching. There are several different ways that the draft could go, and numerous moves could transpire before the draft begins. In this article, we will analyze and predict the 2024 NFL Draft’s first 10 picks. Note: there are no trades in this mock draft.
- Chicago Bears: QB Caleb Williams- USC
- The Bears have been looking for a franchise QB for a while now. Barring any trades, Caleb Williams could be the guy. It will be interesting to see what the Bears do this offseason regarding Justin Fields and the number 1 overall pick.
- Washington Commanders: QB Drake Maye- North Carolina
- I am very wary of Maye. We have seen numerous ACC QBs turn out to be busts, (i.e. Daniel Jones, Sam Howell, Mitch Trubisky) but maybe Maye will prove us wrong and finally win some games in Washington. Knowing the Commanders, they will take him, regardless of the risk.
- New England Patriots: QB Jayden Daniels- LSU
- Coming off a Heisman trophy win, Daniels could be the next star since Tom Brady in New England.
- Arizona Cardinals: WR Marvin Harrison -OSU
–Harrison is arguably the most talented player in this draft. Pair him up with Kyler and the Cardinals could all of a sudden become threatening.
- Los Angeles Chargers: TE Brock Bowers-Georgia
–The Chargers go out and get a franchise Tight end, adding to an already proven Chargers offense. By adding him and their new coach, the Chargers could be a playoff contender next year.
- New York Giants: T- Joe Alt- ND
-Yes, this is a boring pick. However, it is the right one considering how bad their offensive line has been over the past few seasons.
- Tennessee Titans: T Olu Fashanu- Penn State
– The Titans could use another offensive lineman and they could benefit from the multi-award winner Olu Fashanu. Barring any injuries, he could be the next great tackle in the NFL.
- Atlanta Falcons: QB JJ McCarthy-Michigan
– It may be a reach but McCarthy is a proven winner at the collegiate level. The Falcons don’t seem to trust Desmond Ridder, and a move for the National Championship-winning QB could spice things up.
- Chicago Bears: WR Rome Odunze-Washington
Odunze is the perfect compliment to Caleb William’s accurate arm. This duo would be lethal in Chicago. The Bears already have DJ Moore and Cole Kmet, so the addition of blue-chip talent would only make William’s transition to the league easier.
- New York Jets: T Taliese Fuaga-Oregon
- The Jets NEED to improve their O-Line. By adding a top tackle in this draft, maybe Aaron Rodgers won’t go down as soon next season.
