With the OP Cross Country season well underway, we have seen some incredible performances. Now with an unprecedented third-place finish at the Union County Championship, we are witnessing one of, if not the, greatest Ram cross country season. To further this incredible season, the OP middle school cross country team is right there along with the high school team, and at their head, eighth grader Greyson Astle. This Oratory rising star has been putting up personal record after record in the two miles, dropping his season opener from an 11:09 to a 10:37 at his race at Summit. With that massive PR, he set the course record at the Summit Middle School Invitational. Most recently, he put up yet again his fastest time of 10:14 at the Pumpkin Run at Gill Saint Bernards, snagging a first-place finish and helping the team finish seventh. These massive accomplishments show the incredible potential that this program has and came thanks to Greyson’s and his teammates’ hard work and dedication throughout the season. Keep an eye on The XC team and Greyson as he continues to break records and bring about the best team Oratory has ever seen.
