The OP bowling team has been extremely successful this year. They currently maintain an eleven-game win streak, one of the highest in OP history. Most recently, they beat Plainfield with an astounding score of 7-0. In the past month, they also beat Dayton, Union, Roselle, Roselle Catholic, and Hillside each leading to a 7-0 record. Near the end of the month, they defeated the same team they once lost to, Johnson, 5-2, who was undefeated heading into the matchup.
In the Union County team tournament, they placed tenth with Ryan Grapkowski qualifying for individual finals and placing nineteenth. The current best-performing player on the team is Keegan Murphy with the highest score in the season having a 203, also having the highest average with a 158, and the highest series with a 555. The Oratory team itself ranked sixth in their state group and will play Middlesex in the quarterfinals soon.
With many games won against many different teams with high points, and with an astonishingly high win streak, the bowling team is currently going through some of the greatest success they have had in years. They have a great chance of continuing their dominance this year and in the future.
