Senior Night 2025 was filled with so much excitement as we as a school sent the seniors off to the next step of their lives. We honored 5 players in Jalen Brogdon, Henry Bolster, Max Cook, Jack Olohan, and Julian Stauffer. We also paid a tribute to our first year manager and senior Sean McEvoy, who has done a tremendous job in helping out the team this season. After the pregame ceremonies in which the Rowdies chanted each name of the players, the boys were looking to get after it and try to make it three straight victories.
Oratory saw a three point lead after the first quarter, with the score being 18-15. This game was closer than the Rams liked it to be, but the front five of Max Cook, Jack Olohan, Jalen Brogdon, Julian Stauffer, and Henry Bolster were phenomenal. Jack Olohan started the game very hot from the perimeter going 5/6 from three point shots, ending the game with 15 points. After the seniors came out for a breather, the underclassmen went to work and added to the Rams lead, going from a three point lead to a nine point one. The scoring did not stop there as the Rams went for a 21 point third quarter to go up 21 points entering the fourth. After a very long fourth quarter with many fouls (including a Jalen Brodgon technical foul) Governor Livingston was able to creep back in, but at the end of the day it was not enough. Oratory gained their 16th win of the season by a score of 70-56, capping off an incredible night. This was the last time Oratory would take the court at DeGeata Hall this season and for the seniors it is the last time ever. Ryan Fay came in clutch with a 12 point performance to continue an incredible junior season, as Max Cook was a sharpshooter from three with a couple makes totaling to 9 points. Oratory plays Summit next away in the final conference game of the season – so be there and be loud.
